Paintings by David Carlisle

To reduce download times we have had to compromise with low resolution scanning. The scale varies from one painting to another and we have also cropped some images. However, we feel that the spirit of David's art shines through such technological limitations. All his future paintings will be signed with the symbol of a paw, in memory of his beloved Shot, a liver white Springer Spaniel who died tragically at 18 years old.

 

David is widely considered to be one of the best woodcock artists in the World

David is also a consummate master of dog portraits. He is highly commended by the English Springer Spaniel Club, from whom he has received various commissions.
